The hill of Corcovado has 313 meters, is located in the city of Rio the Janeiro. In it, there is a monumental sculpture very well-known called the ''Redeeming Christ'' that represents a Christ contemplating the city of Rio the Janeiro. The sculpture began to be built in 1921 by the French sculptor Paul Landowski and was finished en 1931, all this to commemorate the centennial of the independence of Brazil.
